Patait, born in Jaipur in 1991, is a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary artist creating sculpture, decorative, and functional art that examines the evolution of relationships among craft, materials, human behaviour, and cultural exchange. Through long-term research, traditional making, conservation, and anthropology, his practice combines historical knowledge with contemporary form to reinterpret inherited disciplines and their relevance today. His work reflects on the changing value of labour, objects, and heritage, encouraging closer attention to what societies preserve, celebrate, or abandon.
